Without a balanced skin microbiome, you run the risk of your skin flora being out of whack. Out of whack means your skin cannot keep pathogens from growing–YUCK! If you are noticing any dryness, sensitivity or breakouts, there’s a chance your microbiome needs attention. PREFX has ingredients such as lactobacillus ferment that will kill off any harmful bacteria and restore balance to the skin’s microflora.

Without maintaining a good pH, undesirable bacteria can multiply on the surface. This is especially key when it comes to acne, dehydration and redness of the skin. It is also important to note that you DO NOT need a toner to balance the pH of your skin if you are using the correct cleanser.
