By booking an appointment, purchasing products or services, purchasing a treatment series or package, or using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.

Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Lou Boyd Aesthetics, appointments are intentionally reserved to provide each client with personalized care and adequate treatment time.

I understand that schedules change and that occasionally an appointment needs to be moved. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I simply ask that you provide as much notice as reasonably possible.

There is currently no standard cancellation fee or deposit required for appointments. However, repeated cancellations, frequent rescheduling, late cancellations, or missed appointments can prevent other clients from accessing appointment times.

Lou Boyd Aesthetics reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline future appointments or discontinue the client relationship when a pattern of excessive cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments, late arrivals, or other scheduling issues occurs.

The goal of this policy is not to penalize an occasional schedule change, but to maintain a respectful and sustainable appointment schedule for all clients.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Clients arriving late may receive a shortened treatment so that appointments scheduled afterward are not affected.

If there is not enough remaining appointment time to safely or appropriately perform the scheduled service, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Skincare Product Sales — Final Sale

All skincare product sales are final.

Due to the personal nature of professional skincare products and for health, sanitation, and quality-control reasons, Lou Boyd Aesthetics does not accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds on skincare products once purchased, except where otherwise required by law.

This policy applies to opened and unopened products.

Recommendations are made based upon the information available at the time of consultation or purchase. Skin responses vary from person to person, and a product not producing a desired result, a change in preference, or an individual sensitivity does not automatically qualify the product for a refund.

If you experience an unexpected reaction or concern while using a product, please discontinue use and contact Lou Boyd Aesthetics for guidance regarding your skincare routine. Medical concerns should be addressed with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Services — No Refund Policy

Payments for completed aesthetic services are final and non-refundable.

Aesthetic treatments produce different results for different individuals. No specific outcome, degree of improvement, or duration of results can be guaranteed.

Treatment recommendations are based on professional assessment, client goals, disclosed health and skincare information, and the condition of the skin at the time services are provided.

Dissatisfaction with the degree or speed of results does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Treatment Series & Packages — Final Sale

Treatment series and packages are non-refundable.

Purchasing a series reserves treatment availability and may include special package pricing based upon the client’s commitment to completing multiple treatments.

Once purchased, series and package payments are final and will not be refunded, including when a client changes their mind, relocates, becomes unavailable for appointments, chooses not to complete the series, or does not achieve the specific result they anticipated.

Treatment plans may be modified when professionally appropriate based upon changes in the client’s skin, health history, medications, tolerance, or response to treatment.

Treatment series and packages are intended for the individual for whom they were purchased and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from Lou Boyd Aesthetics.

Any applicable expiration date or treatment schedule will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Nothing in this policy overrides rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Treatment Results & Aesthetic Services Disclaimer

Lou Boyd Aesthetics provides professional aesthetic and cosmetic skincare services. Aesthetic services are not a substitute for medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or medical conditions.

Results from skincare products and professional treatments vary considerably between individuals. Factors including age, genetics, lifestyle, medications, hormones, sun exposure, home skincare compliance, underlying health conditions, previous treatments, and individual skin response can influence results.

Before receiving certain treatments, clients may be required to complete health-history, consultation, contraindication, and informed-consent documentation.

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding medications, medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, recent procedures, prescription skincare, and other circumstances that could affect treatment safety.

Lou Boyd Aesthetics may decline, postpone, modify, or discontinue a treatment when doing so is considered appropriate for client safety or treatment suitability.

Advanced Treatment Disclaimer

Certain advanced aesthetic treatments may cause temporary responses including redness, warmth, dryness, flaking, tightness, sensitivity, swelling, or other expected post-treatment effects.

Potential benefits, expected responses, contraindications, aftercare requirements, and material risks associated with an advanced treatment will be discussed when appropriate.

Receiving an advanced treatment does not guarantee a specific cosmetic outcome.

Clients must follow provided pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions. Failure to follow aftercare recommendations or failure to disclose relevant health, medication, or skincare information may increase the risk of an unwanted reaction or affect treatment results.

Treatment-specific informed consent may be required separately from these website policies.

Client Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

Lou Boyd Aesthetics is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe environment.

Lou Boyd Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services and/or future bookings when reasonably necessary, including because of repeated scheduling issues, inappropriate or abusive behavior, failure to follow safety requirements, undisclosed contraindications, or circumstances in which continuing the professional relationship is no longer appropriate.

Any decision regarding treatment suitability may also be made in the interest of client safety.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates may be redeemed for eligible services or products according to the terms provided at the time of purchase.

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Applicable state and federal laws regarding gift certificates, expiration dates, and unclaimed property supersede any conflicting business policy.

Promotions & Special Offers

Promotional pricing, discounts, special events, and offers may have specific eligibility requirements, redemption periods, or restrictions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other discounts or offers. Promotional offers have no cash value.

Lou Boyd Aesthetics reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions as permitted by applicable law.
